From the second I met these two it was obvious. They have a deep love and respect for one another. Their relationship is one of cooperation, admiration, and an unconditional love. Stephanie and Ryan were married on a beautiful fall day in Sonoma. They were both filled with so much excitement as they prepared to commit their lives to one another. Stephanie was an absolute stunner in her beautiful gown and Ryan, handsome as ever, was just so eager to meet his bride at the alter.
Thank you to Stephanie and Ryan for allowing me to be a small part of one of your most special days. Enjoy the road ahead as you grow old together in marriage. All the best to you!

She was absolutely stunning in her wedding dress. Her beauty just effortless. He smiled as his love walked down the isle - excited that it was the day he got to marry her.
Katherine & Dan are such a fun couple - full of life and always ready for a good time. Their wedding day was beautiful. See for yourself.
I told you so.
Seriously beautiful.
Congrats to the happy couple!

Their wedding day represented them so perfectly. As I watched the day unfold it was clear to me that they wanted their day to be about everything they hold important - family, friends, the community, the earth, and their total devotion and admiration for one another. Kristin and Scot's day held so many special touches. Kristin wore her grandmother's wedding dress that had also been worn by her mother. Her jewelry was hand made by a neighbor. Kristin and Scot's shoes were made by a friend. Flowers for the day had been grown and harvested by friends. Their vows were said under a chuppah made from a quilt built of squares made by wedding guests. The delicious cupcakes were made by a dear friend.

Kristin and Scot are the kindest of souls. People who do things thoughtfully with the intention of benefiting not themselves but those around them. It was so fabulous to be there to witness this couple declaring their love for another and to see them being supported by so many who love and respect them. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of this truly amazing day!
Special thanks to the sweet Mel Ferro Cole of I Heart Photography based in Austin. Mel and I met at a workshop and Mel was kind enough to connect me to her cousin Kristin. It was great to see Mel and to meet her family. I'm always honored when such a talented photographer feels my work is worthy of a referral. Many thanks Mel!

It's just a little look Brian gives her. A sweet moment between them that always makes Nadine light up and smile. I spent the afternoon in the city with these lovebirds and loved listening to them laugh with one another and talk excitedly about their fall nuptials. Nadine and Brian compliment each other so well. They love sports (GO GIANTS!) and spend weekends golfing around the bay area. From my time with them it was obvious that they have such a fun relationship full of inside jokes and laughs. I can't wait to be a part of their wedding day!

You couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day.
The weeks leading up to the first weekend of February were full of rain and unpredictable weather. The bride and groom eagerly checked weather reports and almanacs trying to figure out if sunshine was possible for their big day. And it was. It was an absolutely perfect day full of sunshine at the spectacular Auberge du Soleil.
But that didn't really matter.
It could have been raining with winds and thunder and it wouldn't have made a difference. It would have been just as perfect of a day because the weather had nothing to do with the day's beauty. It had everything to do with Jean & David declaring their love and passion for one another in front of the people they love the most.
These two met years ago in high school. Over the years life carried on between them leading them to difference places but all the while they remained friends. After 14 years of developing a friendship they realized that a love had blossomed between them. A deep and unconditional love that was so evident on their wedding day.
You couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day.
